Layne earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University in Agricultural Studies in 1995. He entered the financial services industry in 1996. Over the years Layne has continued his professional education through The American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and has earned the following professional designations: Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Layne specializes in helping families, individuals and small business owners implement and effectively manage "Financial Game Plans". These plans are designed to help clients identify and achieve personalized goals such as Retirement, College Education, Business Succession, Debt Elimination, Manage Risk, and many other financial goals. In other words, help our clients WIN the financial game of life!

Layne was born and raised on a family farm near Hampton, Iowa. He's married to Cher Brown and is the proud father of 3 (son Hunter and twin daughters Lauren & Taylor). He enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting upland game over a great hunting dog (his favorite breed is the Gordon Setter), golfing, and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones. Daniel started in the industry in 2004 after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Northern Iowa as well as a minor in economics. Daniel has continued his education with the American College and has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designations. Daniel's favorite part of the job is interacting with clients and problem solving. Daniel specializes in the creation and maintenance of retirement income plans as well as business succession planning.

Daniel is a native Iowan and longtime resident of central Iowa. Daniel is happily married to his lovely wife Nicole and they have two wonderful children Isabelle, and Benjamin. In his free time Daniel enjoys being terrible at golf, coaching and being involved with his children’s sports teams, and participating in community events.

Greg entered the financial services industry in 1987. Greg has continued his professional education through The American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and has earned the following professional designations: Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Greg is the director of our Property/Casualty Insurance Division.  This division helps out clients implement Property/Casualty Insurance policies covering your Personal Assets (Homeowner Insurance, Auto Insurance and Umbrella Insurance) as well as your Business and Farm Assets (Business Property/Liability, Worker's Compensation and Farm Insurance).  He works as an independent agent who offers various quality companies that focuses on your unique situation and helps you find the best coverage available.

Greg is a native Iowan, He has lived in the Des Moines area most of his life. Married with two children and two step children. Greg and his wife Terri enjoy riding their Harley Davidson Heritage Classic, traveling around the country and the world - not always on the Harley :)

Greg and Terri are also very active in the West Des Moines Elks Lodge. They also enjoy their Jack Russell Terrier, Jax.

Eric has worked in the financial services industry since 2007, after graduating from the University of Illinois Chicago with a bachelor's degree in marketing.  Eric previously worked for Ameriprise Financial Advisors in Chicago.  Eric has furthered his professional education by earning his SIE and Series 7 licenses.

Eric's favorite part of his job is helping clients pursue their financial goals through personalized strategies, trusted guidance and a commitment to building long-term financial security.  Eric lives in West Des Moines with his wife, son and twin daughters (on the way!).  In his free time, he enjoys playing jazz piano and is an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.

Janelle is a native Iowan from Indianola. She earned her Associates Degree from AIB.  She entered the insurance and financial services industry in 2008 after a long career in banking and has earned a certificate in Paraplanner Development from The American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Janelle specializes in setting up new accounts for financial planning and investment products, life insurance and disability insurance.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and rooting on the Iowa Hawkeyes!
