Associate Financial Advisor

The Associate Financial Advisor will support the Registered Financial Advisor's business with day-to-day administrative assistance while enhancing the service experience of clients. The ideal candidate should aspire to be comfortable creating financial plans and cross checking work to ensure complete accuracy of information. The candidate will be trained to educate clients on the products and services available and deliver personalized investment solutions to help them best utilize their available funds and achieve important monetary goals. We are searching for a Financial Professional who has a strong interest in joining a thriving team environment, the willingness to be mentored by a seasoned advisor, along with the possibility of future ownership. This role requires FINRA licensing within 12 months of hire to allow the candidate to expand the client support provided to the Registered Financial Advisor.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial planning support to clients
  • Support investment professionals to cultivate client relationships
  • Meet individually with clients to determine their financial objectives, risk tolerance, income, expenses and assets
  • Offer strategic advice on products and services, such as investments, insurance coverage and debt management tools
  • Secure stocks and bonds and establish progressive savings accounts
  • Move money from accounts per industry and federal regulations
  • Perform market research to stay current with financial trends
  • Prepare financial documents, such as income projections and investment reports
  • Maintain compliance with all rules and regulations in the financial industry
  • Identify and pursue potential clients to maintain a strong client base
  • Act as a liaison between the representative and their clients.
  • As directed by the representative, based on client needs, run product illustrations, graphs, charts, etc. for presentation to the client by the representative.
  • Maintain representative’s file organization.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in finance or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of industry experience or relevant background
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Special attention to detail
  • Willing and able to achieve the SIE and Series 7 License
